Freezing Your Credit Report
If you think you might be a victim of identity theft, it is a good idea to consider putting a security freeze on your credit report.
When you freeze your credit, creditors cannot access your credit report.
This will keep creditors from approving new credit accounts in your name whether it is fraudulent of legitimate.
To allow lenders and other companies to access your credit report, you can lift off the credit security freeze any time permanently or temporarily by contacting the credit reporting agencies, Trans Union, Equifax and Experian.
Contact Pine Street Legal, LLC to assist you with handling identity theft issues that are hurting your credit and creditworthiness at 215-345-9214 or nkanter@pinestreeetlegal.com.
