But do not make them too simple-it is best to add in special characters, numbers, capital letters and spaces;
Use multi-factor authentication (MFA) when you can-large sites let you opt for a two step login process;
Create strong passwords and do not change them unless you have to;
Avoid using personal information;
Drop the common and default passwords-for example “1234”;
Do not use a single word and one followed by a single number-for example “Password1”;
Do not reuse passwords.
