What To Look For On Your Credit Report
Look for accounts that you did not open or recognize.
Look for incorrect and out of date account information.
Check the section that has your personal information to see if your name is misspelled or incorrect and if there are phone numbers, addresses or work history listings that are wrong.
Look at the Inquiries section at the end to see if you do not recognize the name of creditors that requested to obtain your credit information.
Incorrect information on your credit report can hurt your creditworthiness when you apply for credit, a mortgage, a loan and insurance coverage.
You should dispute to the credit reporting agencies any inaccurate information on your credit report.
Contact Pine Street Legal, LLC to assist you in the dispute process at 215-345-9214 or nkanter@pinestreetlegal.com.
