Prohibited Actions By Debt Collectors
Federal law prohibits debt collectors from threatening the use of violence, the use of obscene language, causing a telephone to ring or engaging any person in telephone conversation repeatedly with the intent to annoy, abuse or harass any person at the called number. Call Pine Street Legal for help if you are experiencing any of these from a debt collector.
